Dubai Design District is a hive of Middle Eastern creative flair, with its spaces connected at high speeds to the world at large. You'll find venues for professional and social events, yoga rooms, art exhibitions and markets, education facilities, talks, shops and a variety of grooming services.

The cult-favourite Amato (Italian for ‘beloved’) is the UAE’s first international haute couture fashion brand, and an international sensation from the award-winning creative designer, Furne One and textile expert, Rashid Ali. Close by, Frame is a beautifully arranged Middle Eastern boutique celebrating Japanese lifestyle and culture, where you’ll find everything from vinyl to homeware. Finally, there's House of Adore concept store — a popular UAE specialist in women’s evening wear, founded in 2004 by Dawla Saeed Omair Ali Aldhaheri.

Culture

The spotless Swarovski Creative Centre is a modern hub for the design community that inspires creativity across fashion, art, jewellery and film. The centre hosts creative workshops, talks, exhibitions and events, as well as contributing training, materials and equipment to promising young designers. Citizen E is a first-floor gallery devoted to contemporary art.

Superstudio is one of Dubai’s foremost furniture and homeware stores, with an award-winning variety of furniture from world-famous brands, like Bocci and Cassina. The family-run Nakkash Gallery, renowned for high quality interior design, was founded in 1983 by Lebanese architect, Wajih Nakkash. They are masters of using internationally-sourced designs to create inspiring spaces with a strong visual impact. Ligne Roset has been showcasing luxury designs for 35 years, from worldwide phenom Didier Gomez to French designer-duo, the Bouroullec brothers.
